Welcome

The Hellgate Homebrewers was formed in 2009 and located in Southern Oregon with brewers from the areas in and around Grants Pass and Rogue River. The purpose of the club is a non profit organization that encourages brewing, tasting, sharing, and education in the art and science of home brewed beer, all in a safe, responsible and respectful environment.

We don’t limit ourselves to beer only; we also include anything that can be fermented. Beer, wine, mead or cider.

Our membership is made up of brewers with several years experience to some that have only brewed a batch or two. Your brewing will only improve with membership in a club, where you have a place to bring your beer’s for tasting and evaluation and get the feedback you need to help bring your brewing to the next level.

Membership in The Club is open to any adult 21 years old or older with an interest in brewing beer and who are actively brewing or want to learn how. All members must complete an application, including a liability waiver, and pay the yearly dues.($20).

We have a very good relationship with Wild River Brewing and Pizza.
Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Public House at Wild River Pub and Publick House on 533 N.E. “F” St. Grants Pass, OR 97526.

Umpqua Brew Fest

Join us Saturday, October 10th for a community celebration of clean water, craft beer, and sustainable living in southern Oregon’s hundred valleys of the Umpqua. The venue is the Douglas County Fairgrounds, I-5 Exit 123 in Roseburg, Oregon. Festival hours are 1 to 10 p.m. Serving craft beer from breweries in the Pacific Northwest and beyond, the Umpqua Brew Fest also features beer-friendly food and live music. Admission to the festival is free, but you must be 21 or over. Tasting packages are $10 for a glass and tickets.

Water Testing

Testing of your brewing water can now be done and the results typically back to you in 48 hours. Only $10 and the proceeds go back to the club for future equipment library purchases. See Nate for details.
